Admissions Coordinator

Mrs. Buell and her family absolutely love hiking and exploring in Colorado!  Her two boys are enrolled at our Elementary campus.  She was a teacher for many years and is thrilled to be our Admissions Coordinator.  She strongly believes in our school’s mission to intentionally partner with parents to raise children to pursue their purpose in Christ.

Bible Verse- Isaiah 43: 1-3 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you;I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God,the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

She has a degree in accounting from Hillsdale College and has worked both in public and private accounting, specifically with non-profits. Mrs. Callahan loves spending time with her family, hunting with her husband and their labradors, hiking, crocheting, and reading. “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14:1-3

Mrs. Galliart is the new Care Team Director for ECA.  She has lived on the west side of Colorado Springs for 20 years with her husband, Paul, and two boys, Boaz and Mack.  She has been a Barton tutor off and on for seven years and enjoys hiking, reading, hobby farming, cycling, and paddle boarding.  Her favorite books are The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers and Hinds Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard.  Her favorite verse is Romans 8:26 which says, “Likewise, the Spirit also helps us in our weaknesses.  For we do not know what we should pray for, as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercessions for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

Shari Hartnett

Shari Hartnett

Elementary Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Hartnett was born and raised in a military family and continued the tradition by marrying into the Navy.  After numerous moves, they transferred to Colorado Springs and now call it home.  Mrs. Hartnett has been with ECA since 2006.  She started as a classroom aide for Pre-K, 2nd grade, and 5th grades, taught library, and landed in her current position, Elementary Administrative Assistant, where she plans to stay!  She and her husband have two children, who both graduated from ECA.  Christian Education has always been a high priority for their family and ECA was by far the best fit for them!  Visiting the Elementary campus for the first time, they could sense the love of Jesus and were greeted with warm, caring hearts of the faculty and staff.  Mrs. Hartnett believes everyone should receive that same welcome which she did several years ago and continues to exude that same feeling as new (and old) families walk through the door.

Shaunna Holst

Shaunna Holst

Secondary Receptionist

Mrs. Holst joined the ECA staff in 2016 as a substitute teacher and volunteer in the front office before moving into her current position of Receptionist at the Secondary campus. Before ECA, Mrs. Holst was a stay-at-home mom with her four children and  homeschooled for 13 years. Each of her children became a student at the Secondary campus at some point in their education career and have now all graduated from ECA. In her spare time Mrs. Holst loves spending time with her family and reading. A passage of Scripture that is a long-time favorite is Psalm 23:The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Natasha McClure

Mrs. McClure is blessed and delighted to be a part of ECA’s team, working as the administrative assistant for Mrs. Singleton. She has been a part of the ECA community since 2021, first as a parent and now as a staff member. She has been married to her amazing husband Nate since 2006, and they have lived and traveled all over the country as a military family. They have three sons, all of whom are students at ECA, which is one their favorite schools they have attended! Mrs. McClure deeply appreciates the value of classical education, as she has witnessed her children grow deeper in the knowledge of God and watched them experience the joys of His creation as revealed in every subject of learning. One of her favorite verses is John 11:25-26: Jesus said to her,“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
