Elementary Athletics
The emphasis of ECA Elementary Athletics is to promote Christian values, and provide all students the opportunity to participate in competitive team sports
ECA is a member of the Christian Schools Athletic League (CSAL). The goal is to foster teamwork, develop skills and gain an understanding of the sport with classmates under the leadership of our volunteer coaches. Christ-like character is emphasized through the “Play Like A Champion Today” program. Volleyball is offered for 5th -6th grade girls. Basketball is offered for 5th-6th grade boys and girls. Wrestling is offered for boys in grades 1st-6th. A one day track meet is also offered toward the end of school. One meet is for 5th-8th grades and another for 1-4th. LandSharks is a running club that we hope to offer again in the future for grades 1st -6th.

Requirements for Participation
If your child is planning to participate in these programs they must have a current physical (within one year) on file in the office, fill out a registration form for each sport, and adhere to the CSAL philosophy as written in the CSAL Handbook. Students must abide by the “Standards for Participation” and Eligibility Policies listed in the Co-Curricular Activities Section of the Student-Parent handbook. Parents will be billed the appropriate fees for each sport.
Opportunities for Parents
The success of our sports programs depends largely on the efforts of our volunteers. You can help by being a coach, assistant coach, or team helper. Before each season parents will be asked to consider helping in this way.
