Dr. Quentin Johnston
Dr. Johnston steps into the role of Interim Head of School with the firm hope and prayer that in these next two years (2025-2027) we will further develop our classical Christian culture, strengthen our academic achievement, and establish our school ever more firmly on her well laid foundation. His desire is that of our families, faculty, and board, that our students continue to thrive in this special community, growing in God’s grace, embracing the True, the Good, and the Beautiful, all the while being equipped to pursue their purpose in Christ.
Growing up in his native Scotland, Quentin has earned degrees from Telford College (Edinburgh University), and Whitefield College and Theological Seminary, FL. Dr. Johnston started a successful small business in Edinburgh, where he also helped his late wife found “The Regius Academy,” one the first Christian schools in Scotland. An honorably retired Teaching Elder in the PCA, he has served in a pastoral capacity in five churches, teaching and Head of School roles in five schools, and as Academic Dean of Whitefield College for eight years. Most recently he served as Vice President of Operations for the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS), through whom Evangel Christian Academy is accredited.
