Chemistry and Earth Science Instructor 

Application Deadline (unless extended): November 20, 2020 Job Description: Implement a program of Classical Christian logic and rhetoric level instruction that meets the established ECA curriculum criteria, individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. This teacher must also have a willingness to do other duties as assigned by the Principal.  Job Qualifications: Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in education (or related field) from an accredited college or university or a degree in science and successful classroom experience. Teacher will be certified (or certifiable) through ACSI or ACCS. Applicant must be in agreement with the ECA Statement of Faith. Biblically integrated and classical teaching experience in our vacant grade is highly desirable. Expertise in Love and Logic (or similar) classroom management, Promethean ActivBoard (or similar), and RenWeb school management software (or similar) is considered a plus. Principal will describe actual classroom and preparation schedule requirements associated with the school year. Must be able to work cooperatively with all members of the staff and communicate effectively with parents and students. All applicants must be US citizens or possess a valid US working visa. Finalists must pass a background check.  Position Details:  This is a Part-time teaching position reporting to the ECA JH (Earth Science) and High School (Chemistry) Principal. Admissions Coordinator (Part-time)

Evangelical Christian Academy (ECA) is now accepting applications for a part-time Admissions Coordinator. Reporting to the Head of School, the position oversees all aspects of admissions, recruitment, marketing, and social media from inquiry to enrollment, and also assists with financial aid. The Coordinator helps to create both short-term and long-term recruitment strategies to ensure that ECA meets enrollment objectives. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service, marketing, and Classical Christian Education. The Coordinator will exemplify a passion for communicating the mission and vision of ECA in a winsome and positive way and will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as a strong service orientation. In addition, attention to detail and comfort in managing data and creating reports will be required. Interested candidates may submit a cover letter and resume’ to Dr. Jim Johnson at . Half Time Chemistry and Earth Science Instructor: This position will begin on January 1, 2021.

A bachelor’s degree is required for instructional positions. A degree related to a teacher’s specific area of expertise is preferred.  Ideal candidates should have experience in the Classical Christian education. An understanding and evidence of the Christian’s Fruit of the Spirit is expected of prospective applicants.
