Academics, Arts, and Athletics

Congratulations to Coach Bruce Beers and the entire Lady Eagle’s basketball team on completing their best season in ECA history! The team garnered an impressive 24-3 record for the season while winning the Black Forest League, the District and Regional Tournaments, and finished as the State Runner-up. Your continuous demonstration of Christ-like leadership and selfless teamwork has inspired us all!

Academics

ECA is strong in academics. The school holds eight Academic Team Champion plaques from the Colorado High School Activities Association. These plaques were awarded to athletic and leadership teams who held the highest average grade point average for their classification in the state. Plaques were received in the areas of Student Leadership and several varsity sports. Other evidences of ECA’s academic stance can be seen in above average standardized test scores, high college placement scores, admissions to colleges of high academic standards, and graduate achievement in college courses.

Arts

ECA is strong in the arts. Our school has multiple bands and choirs at both the elementary and secondary campuses. Various forms of art classes are integrated into our elementary curriculum, while a variety of art courses are available at our secondary campus. Each fall and spring, the ECA Theatre program prepares plays for public presentation. Many of our students have gone on to college and careers in music and the arts.

Athletics

ECA is strong in athletics. It is becoming common for ECA athletic teams to have solid post-season tournament performances in most sports. Our school offers students opportunities to participate in a variety of sports from elementary through high school. ECA fields the following teams: Baseball (HS and JH club), Basketball (HS, JH and Elem), Cross Country (HS), Soccer (HS, JH, and Elem), Track and Field (HS and Elem club), Volleyball (HS, JH and Elem), and Wrestling (Elem club). 2A athletic participation encourages multi-sport participation for students. Athletics also provide a great social outlet for students, parents and fans!
